Feeling Powerless About COVID-19? You're NOT!

“Helping someone else through difficulty is where civilization starts. Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead
The Mutual Aid Middle Border (MAMB) Network was created to provide people living in Danville, Pittsylvania County & Caswell County with an opportunity to connect with their neighbors, to ask for assistance and to offer support during this time of social isolation.
How Does it Work?
It’s simple! If you have a need, fill out the quick & easy request form HERE. If you have a particular skill or resource you’d like to offer in support of a neighbor, fill out the form HERE. Our team will work behind the scenes as a “matchmaker” of sorts, pairing requestors with offerors. In most cases, you’ll hear back from us within 48 hours.
In the meantime, check out the inclusive MAMB Network spreadsheet HERE for a complete list of requests & offers made to date, along with a resource directory for additional available supports.
The MAMB Network is not designed to replace government assistance or to duplicate support being offered by area organizations. Instead, it allows people to help people. It’s that simple.
If you have any questions about the MAMB Network or would like to submit your request or offer by phone, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
